M.Com. – Master of Commerce

Advanced accounting, taxation and finance, aimed squarely at NET, banking and academic careers.

M.Com. here is built for three specific destinations: UGC-NET and college lectureship, senior banking examinations, and professional taxation practice. The syllabus reflects that — advanced corporate reporting, tax planning, security analysis and research methodology, with a dissertation in the final semester.

The department is led by Dr. Meenakshi Bansal, a former GST consultant, and the taxation papers are taught with live compliance work rather than from a textbook alone. Students file practice returns on real formats and reconcile actual ledger data.

Who Can Apply

B.Com. or an equivalent bachelor's degree in commerce with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

Admission is granted strictly on the merit of the qualifying examination, following the reservation policy of the Government of Haryana. There is no capitation or donation charge of any kind.

Many of our students do both. M.Com. gives you the academic qualification and NET eligibility that CA alone does not, and the syllabi overlap enough that the combined workload is manageable if you plan the semesters carefully.
